Drifting.....

I get inspired by my surroundings all the time, living twenty steps from the beach, albeit a town beach, still has strange feeling of living on the edge of the earth.
Waking in the morning I still get a rumble of anticipation as I draw up the blinds, wondering how the sea will look today... what mood it's in, and what's delights it will throw up as gifts on the shore.
This is a creation from my latest gift from Neptune..

There's a baby booooooooom going on??

I think I must be at that age... everyone's got little'uns or is brewing them up...
So I will embrace this and become chief bootie supplier :)

neglected.....

Almost completely forgot about this blog until google started linking things all together in a scary info scooping type way. Well now I'm back on it, more ramblings and some pics of things I've made recently to follow shortly :)

bob the bulb box

well, yesterday after all that exhasting musing, I built a box for my bulbs out of driftwood from dungeness.
I even gave it a name and face :/
I can't wait for spring!

The sunshine brought out some artists out on the the hill, some beautiful work being created.

appy new yee-hah!

Back from the tour of family, food and drink and getting stuck into the new year.
I resolute to have less sugar in my tea, and draw more. In a pencil and paper type way.
Made a list of things me n E are going to do before spring, and getting excited about doing them all.
I cannot wait for the surf trip - bin itching to get back in the water -and more campervan living, definitely making the most of our weekends :)

avoiding christmania

Avoiding the manic town centre shopping scenerio, that inevitably ends up with you convinced that people have been sharpening their elbows before they go out, is mostly what I've been doing this week, and apart from one little trip carefully timed to coincide with as few others as possible, i.e. monday morning, I've got away with it completely!
Combining some crafty online shopping and homemade pressies... no problem.
Paper making and binding was fun this week too..... combined with some photo corners they turned out to be great gifts...
